Professor Bian Jianlin is the Dean of CUPL Procedure Law Research Institution, and the President of China Criminal Procedure Law Research Association. He graduated from China University of political sicen and law in 1983, and got Master Degree in 1986 and Doctoral Degree in 1991 at CUPL also. From August 1999 to August 2000, he was invited by Harvard University as senior visiting scholar to do further study abroad in U.S..
